Interesting localised phenomena there Luis !
This image seems to show a slight downward temperature trend 2000-2007. I believe 2007 has not yet been officially ranked in the Top 10 headed by 1998, a curious omission by the Weather Bureau so maybe it wasn't that hot. Places like Adelaide finished the year with 43C on Dec 31. The Hydro people said the local rainfall was OK (over 2.5 metres) but erratic.
